They did their own headline EP launches and supported Sydney singer songwriter Josh Pyke on his recent national tour.Community radio are all over tracks off their debut EP The Man Is Dead, that same enthusiasm has now translated to the American radio folk.

While the band have been working hard and winning fans in venues around the country, their people in the USA have been working hard to introduce the band to an American audience. Their hard work is paying off, The Jezabels hit #4 on the most added chart at US college radio last week and this week debuted on the CMJ top 200 at #118. Not a bad start for the indie kids in what is their first exposure in the USA.

The band have just started pre production for the next release that will be due in October 2009.
